Mary Beth Elam

Mary Beth Elam began her career at AC Entertainment while in college at the University of Tennessee.  While at AC, Mary Beth worked as an assistant to the Booking department and Promoter Rep, learning the ins and outs of concert production and administration.  She also oversaw the site development, layout and build for AC’s Hot Summer Nights outdoor concert series in Worlds Fair Park, a project that fueled her love for creating outdoor venues and events from scratch.

After leaving AC in 2009, Mary Beth embarked on a freelance path where she lent her knowledge and skills to music festivals and tours across the country.  She worked as many festivals as she could, taking on different roles spanning from Artist Relations to Catering Management and Database Systems Administrator, rounding our her experience and providing her with an expansive knowledge of the ins and outs of festival operations.

In 2012, she joined forces with Jim Tobin to help turn his sole proprietorship into a corporation and take his Site & Operations Management business to the next level.  For the next 7 years she would help to design, build, and manage festival sites for some of the largest festivals in the country.  From New York City to San Francisco, Okeechobee, FL to Simcoe, ON, she led the team and helped to build some of the most beautiful and unique event sites the industry has seen.  She also ran the business side of things at JTP, overseeing everything from bookkeeping and tax preparation, to contracts, legal review and human resources, skills that came in handy when branching out on her own.

Mary Beth left JTP at the end of 2018 and founded Old Soul Production Services.  She now utilizes her vast skillset to help produce events in both the music festival and fan convention industries.  She’s got the experience and know-how to take on whatever your project needs, big or small!
